Terms and Conditions

1. Program Overview

The Ladder Tech Mentorship Program is a structured initiative designed to provide mentorship to tech professionals seeking career guidance.
The Ladder Tech Mentorship Program is free, with a limited number of fully sponsored slots available through select partnerships.
However direct applicants who are successfully shortlisted will be required to pay a ₦10,000 administrative fee to confirm their participation.

Participation in the program is not automatic, as all applications undergo a screening and shortlisting process to ensure the best possible mentor-mentee match.

By applying, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

2. Application Process & Selection

  • Applicants must provide accurate and truthful information in their application form. Any false information may lead to disqualification or removal from the program.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Due to limited mentor availability, only shortlisted applicants will proceed to the next stage.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete any additional onboarding steps before being assigned a mentor.

3. Mentee Responsibilities & Conduct

  • Selected mentees must be responsive and proactive in engaging with their assigned mentors. Lack of communication or engagement may result in removal from the program.
  • Mentees must approach the mentorship period with commitment and seriousness to maximize the experience.
  • The program is mentor-led, not instructor-led. Mentees are responsible for setting goals, asking questions, and making use of their mentor’s guidance.
  • Mentees should respect their mentor’s time by being punctual for scheduled sessions and communicating any scheduling conflicts in advance.
  • Any form of harassment, disrespect, or inappropriate behavior toward mentors or program coordinators will result in immediate removal.

4. Mentor Assignment & Expectations

  • Mentor-mentee pairings are done based on the information provided in the application form. No requests for specific mentors will be entertained.
  • The mentor’s role is to provide guidance and career advice; mentors are not responsible for guaranteeing job placements, providing financial assistance, or offering hands-on training.
  • The success of the mentorship experience largely depends on the mentee’s effort and participation. The program organizers will not be responsible for any lack of progress due to a mentee’s inactivity or lack of effort.

5. Program Disclaimers & Limitations

  • The Ladder Tech team and mentors are not liable for any personal, professional, or financial decisions made by mentees based on mentorship advice.
  • The organizers do not guarantee job offers, promotions, or financial benefits as a result of participating in this mentorship.
  • If mentees encounter difficulties in scheduling meetings with their mentors or have any concerns, they should reach out to the program coordinators, who will handle cases on a best-effort basis.
  • The mentorship program does not include formal certifications, and participation does not equate to accreditation from Ladder Tech.

6. Program Modifications & Termination

  • Ladder Tech reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate the program at any time without prior notice.
  • Organizers also reserve the right to remove any mentee who fails to comply with program expectations or exhibits inappropriate behavior.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
